The Toad Brigade is a team of Toads led by their leader, Captain Toad.
Overview
Initially forming prior to Mario's arrival in the Honeyhive Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy[1], the Toad Brigade provide assistance in his adventure across the universe, helping to retrieve Power Stars through the use of their spaceship, the Starshroom; the Lumas of the Comet Observatory helped in its construction. In subsequent adventures, they continue to act as aids for Mario. Originally comprised of five Toads of unique colours, Toadette was made a sixth member of the team sometime between the events of Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. In addition to Captain Toad and Toadette, notable members include Hint Toad, Bank Toad, and Mail Toad.
