Mario Clash was the liberation of the Clash House Tower from bad guys.
History
One night, the Clash House Tower, a building reaching far beyond the clouds, was invaded by a wide variety of enemies on their blimp. Mario arrives at the tower via its entrance and climbs his way to the top, taking out all of the invaders within.[1]
Mario climbs up all of the 99 floors within the tower and saves the tower from its enemies. The enemies inside surrender, white flags and all.[2]
Timeline
- Yoshi appears in the Mushroom Kingdom, placing this game after previous titles where he lived on Yoshi’s Island.[3]
- Donkey Kong Jr. appears, older than he was in the Game & Watch Gallery titles, but younger than he is in Super Mario Kart and Mario’s Tennis.[4]
