Donkey Kong Jr. (Arcade) is Donkey Kong Jr.'s lengthy quest to save Donkey Kong from Mario's capture.

History

Mario has captured Donkey Kong deep inside the jungle and is holding him caged up. Donkey Kong Jr. chases Mario across several locations, always trying but failing to free his father with the key.

Mario then takes Donkey Kong to Mario's Hideout by plane. At the hideout, the place is filled with dangerous wires and Sparks. In the last room, Junior has to slot in several keys that hold Donkey Kong stuck. While difficult, Donkey Kong is ultimately freed from captivity. Mario attempts to chase after them, but being kicked away by Donkey Kong sends a clear message.[1]
