Cranky Kong is the father of Donkey Kong Jr. and grandfather of Donkey Kong. He is the original Donkey Kong who appears in the arcade game of the same name.

History

Donkey Kong Circus

During the events of Donkey Kong Circus, Donkey Kong is forced to juggle pineapples while balancing on a Barrel. He also had to avoid Fireballs coming out of an flaming oil barrel. Mario, who was in the audience laughed whenever he missed a pineapple or got burnt.

Donkey Kong Hockey

After the events of Donkey Kong Circus, Donkey Kong becomes Mario's pet. The two of them decided to play field hockey with eachother. This was an actual game with a referee and an audience.
