The history of Mario's Universe spans roughly 1.38 billion years ago, starting with the Big Bang.

This article is split into three sub-articles. Prehistory will start at the beginning of the universe, ancient history starts 3,000 years ago with the rise of the Tribe of Ancients, and modern history starts 100 years ago with the likes of Dr. Crygor and Professor E. Gadd's birth.
