  1. By comparing the time of Tour Earth (meant to correspond with our history) with that of Mario's Earth (a 1:10 ratio), dividing the Big Bang of our world to correspond with Mario's would place it roughly 1.38 billion years ago.
  2. Eldstar: They stole our prized treasure, the Star Rod, which we've cared for since the beginning of time.
  3. "Lunar Life Forms: The surface of the moon is harsh, but a few creatures do live there. Take heed if tempted to study their unique shape and movement up close, as they have sharp spikes. It's probably best to observe them from a safe vantage point. Interestingly, similar creatures can be found in the Seaside Kingdom. Did life on our planet (which began in the seas) actually originate on the moon?"
  4. Space dragons like Gobblegut exist and ancient statues honoring the species appear in places like Dragon Palace, meaning dragons originated from outer space. Dragons and dinosaurs are used interchangeably in the Mario franchise, with dragons like Rexes resembling dinosaurs and Dragon Coins using Yoshi's as image.
  5. Amber Ring: "Mosquitoes are annoying, unless they've been trapped inside a rock for millions of years"
  6. Humanity's ability to hunt is due to the Voice teaching them, making the ice age take place after their arrival
  7. The mention of Mastadooms likely being mammoths in their Monster List profile brings their extinction close to this event
  8. Theory: Origin of the Starburst Symbol
  9. Toadsworth: "Welcome to Pagoda Peak! This mountain is 4,000 years old! You can just smell the history."
  10. Prince Dreambert: "The safekeeping of these stones was tasked to us..."
  11. Prince Dreambert: "Strong dream power withing the woods... The Pi'illo Temple!
  12. Prince Dreambert: "All those... who seek... the Zeekeeper's power... You must make the Ultibed..."
  13. Prince Dreambert: "It was here that I learned to summon the Zeekeeper. It is not easy to call him forth... When I was here as a youth, I had no idea where to begin."
  14. Likely happens after the collapse of the Pi'illo Kingdom
  15. Shroom City Chronicle: "-The Birth of King Shroomses- Life begins in the Sandpaper Desert; -Black Water and Massive Coinage- Shroomses finds water. Riches flow"
  16. The Temple of Shrooms' hieroglyphs are shared in Paper Mario: Sticker Star's Drybake Desert and its Yoshi Sphinx can also be seen in Mario Kart: Super Circuit's Yoshi Desert. Furthermore, Shroom City's domed tops are shared in many locations of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Mario Kart 7's Shy Guy Bazaar
  17. "Long ago, in this very land, there was a kingdom called Dry Dry Kingdom. King Mousta ruled over it. One dark day, he was betrayed by his subjects. In the uprising that followed, Dry Dry Kingdom was ruined. King Mousta escaped and vowed vengeance on his enemies. He gathered those faithful to him and defeated his betrayers."
  18. Mario Kart Tour's rendition of GCN Dry Dry Desert and Wii Dry Dry Ruins retcons the statues and sphinxes with those of Hammer Bros. It's likely that the rebellion against King Mousta would've been led by a Hammer Bro family
  19. Shroom City Chronicle: "-Shroomses Dynasty's Golden Age- Sharing the wealth. Ruling rules!"
  20. Shroom City Chronicle: "-The Eternal King Shroomses- He rests in the Temple of Shrooms"
  21. The North American manual refers to the Palace as a former royal family residence. Seeing at the Palace resides in the Mushroom Kingdom, and it shares the same dome-like tops of previous Kingdom of Shrooms architecture, it's very likely that this refers to a Kingdom of Shrooms royal family
  22. Given that it's likely the Kingdom of Bask is the originator behind the Hammer Bro sphinxes and statues, this event would take place after all of those statues have been built
  23. Aster: "I am Aster, humble guardian of the noble King Bask. It is my duty to watch over the one called Lucien. Lucien, as you almost certainly already know, is the name of an almighty racket. It is a dangerous being with the power to control people! King Bask, who once ruled this kingdom, was awed by the racket's power and took it as his own. In the end...it destroyed the entire kingdom. But with the last of his power, our king somehow managed to seal Lucien away."
  24. Merri: "Aren't you two fascinating! As miracle hand technicians, we're masters of hands like yours!"
  25. Firebrand: "Welcome! Yes, welcome! Welcome to the fire Palace! I have been waiting for you. I have waited many long years, smoldering like embers. For you I have kept waiting... and waiting...and WAITING! In fact, the last time anyone came through here was... 3000 years ago!"
