History
Super Mario Land

Tatanga arrived on Sarasaland from outer space and quickly took over by using his interstellar hypnosis methods on its citizens. He then captured Princess Daisy and held her prisoner in the Chai Kingdom so he could marry her and make her his queen.[1]
Mario defeated him after arriving, freeing Daisy and Sarasaland's citizens from Tatanga's influence.[2]
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
Tatanga returned in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins with a vengeance towards Mario.[3] He was stationed in Mario Land's Space Zone and was lent one of the 6 Golden Coins by Wario. Using a smaller aircraft, he battled Mario for a second time but lost again.[4]
