The Northern Kremisphere is a large landlocked area, full of lakes and forests. The events of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, Donkey Kong Land III take place here. Funig Forest, visited during the events of Donkey Kong 64, is supposed to be located there aswell.
