The Northern Kremisphere is a large landlocked area, full of lakes and forests. The events of |Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land III take place here. Furthermore, Fungi Forest, which was visited during the events of Donkey Kong 64, is located here.

The easiest way to get to the Northern Kremisphere from Donkey Kong Island, is by leaving the island on it's South Coast.

Funky Kong owns a Boat Rental in the Northern Kremisphere, located on one of the bigger lakes of the region. Nearby, Wrinkly Kong used to reside in her retreat, while also having multiple Save Caves to live in. Cranky Kong operated multiple Dojos in the area, where he practiced and taught Kong Karate. Swanky Kong also operated a Virtual Reality game on the region.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble

Donkey and Diddy Kong decided to head to the Northern Kremisphere for a short vacation. Swimming in one of the greater lakes, they were both captured by King K. Rool’s large submarine, the Knautilus. King K. Rool, under the persona of Baron K. Roolenstein, connected their brains to a machine called KAOS, which he used to try and take control of the entire Northern Kremisphere. Meanwhile, Dixie Kong began to worry when Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong never returned from their trip after multiple days, so she decided to take a look for them. She arrived at Funky's Rentals, where she met her younger cousin Kiddy Kong. Funky was tired of taking care of Kiddy Kong, so Dixie decided to take him with her to look for Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong traveled through the Northern Kremisphere until they found King K. Rool in an abandoned castle. They defeated him, and set Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong free. To celebrate their victory, the Kongs went swimming in a smaller lake, but were surprised by a horde of Kremlings which tried to kidnap the entire Kong family. Upon learning this, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong went on to find K. Rool and fight him out of the area once and for all. With the help of Banana Birds, they trapped him within a giant egg and restored peace to the region.
