Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis was the grand opening of Super Mini World.
History
The Mini-Mario Toy Company opened Super Mini World a theme park based on their Mini Donkey Kong, Mini Toads, and Mini Peach toys. Mario and his VIP guest Pauline were at the park's grand opening. Donkey Kong, a worker at the Mario Toy Company, was in the crowd of Toads watching the Ribbon cutting. Donkey Kong was in love with Pauline and jumped on the stage to offer her a Mini Donkey Kong toy, however she choose Mario’s Mini Mario gift instead. Donkey Kong became angry and kidnaped Pauline, taking her into the elevator and up top of the building. Mario saw two Mini Marios and decided to use the toys to help himself climb the tower.[1]
Mario chased Donkey Kong up all eight floors of the building. At the end of each floor the Mini Mario's battled Donkey Kong, using a canon.
After reaching the top floor, Mario was surprised to find Pauline sitting in a room with a cake and many presents. Donkey Kong entered the room, looking Sad. Pauline picked up a Mini Donkey Kong from the table and Kissed it, making Donkey Kong happy. Some Toads entered the room. Everyone in the room waved.[2]
