Donkey Kong (Game & Watch) was Mario rescuing Pauline from Donkey Kong.

History

Donkey Kong has kidnapped Pauline and taken her ontop of a Construction Site. Mario has to climb upwards and loosen the four hooks on the girders supporting Donkey Kong.

After loosening all four, Donkey Kong falls down.[1]

Timeline

  • This title has the same plot as Donkey Kong (Arcade), taking place while Mario is a carpenter and while Pauline is his girlfriend, likely placing it at the same time as Donkey Kong (Arcade).
