Wrecking Crew was Mario & Luigi's job in the demolition crew.

History

Mario & Luigi managed to find a job as demolition men at a Construction Site. Their job involved destroying 100 buildings, all the while being haunted by Gotchawrenches, Eggplant Man, fireballs, and Foreman Spike.

After every fourth building, the Bros. could get an extra pay if Spike couldn't get his hands on it first.[1]

Timeline

  • Mario & Luigi find work on a construction site as demolition men.
  • Stated to take place before the Mario Bros. “became sports stars in their downtime from saving the princess”, placing this game before Super Mario Bros. and Mario sports titles.[2]
