Luigi is the lesser-known twin brother of Mario. He is a playable character in many games of the Super Mario Franchise, and is even the protagonist of a few, such as those in the Luigi's Mansion series and New Super Luigi U. Luigi has rescued Mario several times, and Mario has done the same for Luigi on many occasions.
