Wario's Woods
Wario's Woods was Toad's rescue of the Peaceful Woods from Wario's control.
History
Wario has taken over the friendly and quiet Peaceful Woods and filled the trees' hollow insides with his band of monsters. Toad, the Mushroom Kingdom hero, arrives to save the Woods by ridding it of Wario's monsters and his reign of terror.[1] The native sprites aid Toad in this quest by sending down color-coordinated bombs that Toad has to line up to make its explosion take out the monsters alongside it.[2]
To help stop Toad, Wario has placed several bosses that Toad has to explode with the bombs gifted by the sprites.[3][4]
Wario would constantly threaten Toad to get home, resorting to creating an inflatable version of himself to further intimidate Toad.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]
Toad then reached the fight against Wario. It took a while, but the bombs managed to defeat Wario.[14] Wario hides behind his massive inflatable Wario to try and intimidate Toad, but the inflatable pops and Wario attempts to flee by his plane but gets caught by a tree.[15]
While being set back, Wario's reign of terror continued with the Peaceful Woods being filled with monsters. Toad gets back to work to save the woods and defeat the bosses Wario brought alongside him.[16]
Going through caves and cliffs, Toad arrives at Wario's Castle to defeat Wario's final 3 minions.[17] At last, Toad arrives again with Wario, who fights Toad one final time.[18] Winning the fight, Toad throws one final bomb toward Wario's Castle, destroying it and returning the Peaceful Woods to its peaceful nature.[19]
