Arguments
- Argument 2: Both Pidgits and Wingo are based off of real life crows.
- Argument 3: Wingo is inspired by the giant bird Roc from One Thousand and One Nights (better known as Arabian Nights) the same story that is credited with being one of the earliest pieces of literature to use the concept of a Magical Flying Carpet, identical to the ones used by Pidgits for transportation.
- Argument 4: Wingo has a turban, which matches the Arabian style of characters and objects in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, the game where Pidgits first appeared.
- Argument 5: Both Super Mario 3D World and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker are full of references to Super Mario Bros. 2 (Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic). Wingo being a Pidgit may be another example of one of these references.
