Super Mario Run was the saving of Princess Peach and the rebuilding efforts of Peach's Castle and Toad Town.

History

Peach had invited Mario to have some cake together. Mario was on his way when Bowser suddenly appeared in his Clown Car and raced Mario to get the cake alongside Peach.[1] Mario sees Peach's Castle being under attack and rushes after it.[2] Mario arrived to see Peach's Castle destroyed, the town close by also destroyed, and Bowser has taken Peach to Bowser's Castle. The attack also caused a lot of Toads to flee.

Mario heads to Bowser's Castle and defeats the Fake Bowser inside. The real Bowser still has Peach and flies away somewhere else.[3] Mario goes around the Mushroom Kingdom and encounters Bowser again who throws Bob-ombs at Mario, which he kicks back causing the Clown Car to malfunction.[4] Peach is then rescued by Mario.

Peach has been returned to the kingdom, but the kingdom still needs to be rebuilt. To help rebuild Peach's Castle, a lot of Toads need to be rallied back up. Mario, Peach, and Toad then start hyping up the other Toads to come back by performing some tricky parkour, which helps grow the Toads' numbers bit by bit.[5] The proceeds accumulated during these Toad Rallies were also spent on rebuilding efforts. Some of the houses rebuilt resulted in more people participating in the Toad Rally, such as Luigi, Toadette, Yoshi, and other Yoshis.

During the restoration, Princess Daisy was found to have gone missing within the world of Remix 10.[6] Everyone went inside to find her and, after looking through a lot of areas, find out it was Bowser who had kidnapped her.[7] After saving Daisy, she decided to also participate in Toad Rallies.

The Toad Rallies proved to be successful as Peach's Castle was rebuilt, looking even more better than how it looked before Bowser's attack.
