Moo Moo Meadows is a large grassy area located on the outskirts of Toad City, to the east. The region is known for its farms, windmills and Moo Moo pastures with various small towns located on the surrounding landscape. The company Moo Moo Dairy operates from here, exporting goods to many other regions.
Locations
Moo Moo Farm
A dirt racetrack located in a farm, it features a simple layout. Its shape is roughly oval, with two bridges crossing over the track, which is entirely surrounded by white fences. A farm building is located near one the two gates to the farm.
Moo Moo Meadows (race track)
Another racetrack in the region. The track is surrounded by farmhouses, windmills and farming equipment. Moo Moos often cross the dirt path. Moo Moo Meadows Milk trucks can be seen parked nearby.
History
Mario Kart 64
During the Mario Kart 64 tournament, Moo Moo Farm was featured as the second course in the Mushroom Cup. The companies Luigi's and Mario Star sponsored large billboards placed along the track.[1]
Mario Kart DS
Moo Moo Farm returned in Mario Kart DS as the second track in the Shell Cup. This time, however, no billboards were featured on the farm.[2]
Mario Kart Wii
Moo Moo Meadows first appeared in Mario Kart Wii, as the second course in the Mushroom Cup. Banners on the side of the track advertised Mario Racing and Mario Kart Milk (possibly a tie-in product by Moo Moo Meadows Milk), alongside banners of the Meadows itself.[3]
Mario Kart 8
Moo Moo Meadows later returned as the first Shell Cup track in the Mario Kart 8. On this tournament, 1-Up Fuel, Green Service and Moo Moo Meadows Milk are featured on the trackside banners.[4]
