Iggy Koopa is a jokester and a crazy[1] member of the Koopalings, a group composed of seven Koopas who lead the Koopa Troop.
History
Super Mario Bros. 3
In Super Mario Bros. 3, Iggy and his siblings were sent by Bowser to cause havoc in the Mushroom World. Iggy decided to raid Big Island; when he got there, he attacked a Toad that was the King's attendent, stole the magic wand and transformed the King of Big Island into a Kong similar to Donkey Kong Jr.. Mario and Luigi arrived in Big Island to help. After the Bros. go all through the Airship, they fight Iggy in his cabin, the Koopaling lost the fight and the Bros. returned the King to normal.

Personality
Iggy is a crazed[1] boy who lives a frivolous life,[1] often via provoking his opponents with playful behavior or taking a leasurely stroll with his Clown Car.[2][3][4] Due to his carefree persona, he often laughs at inoportune times,[5] which has granted him a beating from Bowser at one point.[6] When he's assigned on a mission, however, his confidence in his own strength spikes through the roof.[7][8]
He's capable of taming Chain Chomps.[3]
