Ice Flower
Ice Flowers are power-ups that allow the user to throw balls of ice or travel over bodies of water and lava by freezing it. They are found throughout Mushroom Continent and other parts of Mario’s World such as space.
Description
The main area of an Ice Flower is a white circle in the middle surrounded by a light blue ring and a blue ring. The body is held up by a green stem with 2 leaves. Being inhabited by a spirit, indicated by the eyes in the middle, allows anyone who grabs it to be transformed into their Ice form. How the user appears in their Ice form usually depends on what they look like but it almost always is light blue.
While in Ice form, the user can throw balls of ice that can freeze others into a block of ice[1]. Being attacked will revert the user back to their regular self.
Variants
Cosmic Ice Flower
This term is used to refer to Ice Flowers that have due to the atmosphere of space. Instead of changing the user's clothing or cap, the user's body turns into ice. Instead of throwing balls of ice, the user can freeze bodies of water and lava. This form is also limited compared to the regular Ice Flower.
