Egg
History
Mario in a chef's outfit is feeding Yoshi a bunch of their cookies.[1] Some of the eggs Yoshi lays would give birth to more Yoshis.[2]
Timeline
- Yoshi appears in the Mushroom Kingdom, placing this game after previous titles where he lived on Yoshi’s Island.
- Mario feeds Yoshi some of their cookies while wearing the chef outfit, placing this game after the events of Yoshi’s Cookie.
- Yoshi lays some more eggs.
Greenhouse
History
A Yoshi on Yoshi's Island is defending 2 pairs of growing flowers on clouds from disruptive Fly Guys and Ukikis. The Yoshi's manner of defense is by restocking on watermelon seeds to spit out toward these invaders.[3]
Timeline
What appears to be the same Yoshi from Vermin (Modern) makes another appearance here.
Turtle Bridge
History
Toad is acting as the deliveryman. He must send a wide array of items from Mario to Princess Peach. But the road is paved with danger; Toad must jump on Goonies that instinctively want to drop down to pop balloons, and the only floating platform between Mario and Peach starts dropping down, eventually replaced with Donut Blocks.[4]
Timeline
- One of the presents Toad has to carry is a Yoshi Egg, likely placing this game after the events of Chef (Modern) and/or Egg (Modern).
- The design of Peach’s Castle here is closer to its appearance as seen in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars than its appearance in Super Mario 64 and later titles.
