Game & Watch Gallery 2
Game & Watch Gallery 2 is a loose list of certain events at different points in time.
Parachute
History
A flying ship is dropping down Toads, Yoshis, and Donkey Kong Jr. towards a sea. Mario is luckily steering a small boat underneath the flying ship to catch the parachutists.[1][2]
Timeline
- Yoshi appears in the Mushroom Kingdom, placing this game after previous titles where he lived on Yoshi’s Island.
- Donkey Kong Jr. is still a baby, placing this title before Super Mario Kart and Mario's Tennis.
Helmet
History
Bowser's minions are performing an airborne attack across the Mushroom Kingdom. Koopa Paratroopas and Fly Guys are raining hammers and spiked balls below. Fire Bubbles and Thwomps are also using themselves to attack anyone in their path. Mario has to maneuver himself through these falling projectiles and make his way through a door on the other side of the scene.
Wario is also there, doing the same thing as Mario, and is receiving the same brunt of attack from the Koopa Troop.[3]
Timeline
- Wario appears and is attacked by Bowser’s minions. This indicates that this game takes place during a time in which Wario is in the Mushroom Kingdom, but it may also indicate that Wario is not well known at this point in time, and is perhaps being mistaken for Mario.
- Bowser’s minions enact an airborne invasion on the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Fly Guys appear, likely placing this game after the events of BS Super Mario USA where they’ve rejoined the Koopa Troop.

Vermin
History
A Yoshi is left to guard six Yoshi eggs from invading Fly Guys, Koopa Paratroopas, and Boos who want to punch cracks into the hatching Yoshi eggs. One Monty Mole would sometimes arrive to heal out the cracks done to the Yoshi eggs.[4]
Timeline
- Six Yoshi eggs appear here, potentially the same six eggs seen hatching in Yoshi’s Story, one of which is likely Yoshi.
Donkey Kong
Retconned in Game & Watch Gallery 4.
Ball
History
A Yoshi is juggling a trio of Yoshi eggs.[5] Mario is juggling a Super Mushroom, a Super Star, and a Heart.[6] Wario is juggling a Heart, Super Star, and Wanderin' Goom.[7] Bowser is juggling a Koopa Troopa inside their shell, Goomba, and Boo.[8]
Timeline
- Mario juggles once again, this time with Yoshi, Wario and Bowser joining in.
- Mario juggles the very same Star and Heart items that he juggled in Mario the Juggler, though now he juggles a Super Mushroom instead of a Bomb and uses a racket instead of his hands, implying this takes place after Mario the Juggler.
- This game features a Wanderin’ Goom for Wario to Juggle, likely placing it soon after Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
