Virtual Boy Wario Land is Wario's quest to gain some treasure after having accidentally fallen down a hole.
History
Wario was having a relaxing sleep in the shadow of the beautiful Aldegara Waterfall in the Awazon river basin.[1] He then abruptly wakes himself up to see some masked creatures carrying chests of treasure. Wario chases after them to grab the treasure for himself, but falls deep inside the planet.[2]
Wario's climb upwards leads him to an encounter with the leader of the masked creatures: Demon Head.[3] Smacking him right in the nose enough times, Wario returns with all the treasure in tow and flies back home grinning.[4]
Timeline
- Wario goes on another treasure-hunting adventure, placing this game after Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3.
- Wario still has his explorer hat.
- Wario uses his plane, the Bulldog.
