Toads are a mushroom-like humanoid species, appropriately also called Mushroom People. Toads are the dominant species of the Mushroom Kingdom, lending their name to Toad Town, the kingdom's capital. Toads are prominently found throughout many other areas on Mario's Planet. A well-known Toad is an attendant and servant of Princess Peach Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom and is also named Toad.
