- Argument 1: Podley and Podler both look almost exactly like Beanish from the Beanbean Kingdom. They both have a bean-shaped head, a humanoid body and a green skin.
- Argument 2: Chuckola Cola, a drink native to the Beanbean Kingdom and made there is famously sold in Podley's bar.
- Argument 3: Podley's name directly translated from Japanese is "Master Bean" and Podler's name directly translated from Japanese is "Master Peas". These names both cement Podley's and Podler's connection to beans and by extension the Beanish species and the Beanbean Kingdom.
